Public Perceptions of EU Foreign & Security Policy

JOINT will perform an analysis of elite and public opinion towards an enhanced EU foreign & security policy. 

The goal of achieving greater EU foreign and defence cooperation ostensibly chimes with public and elite opinion. Still, large segments of the public remain elusive, or outright sceptical, about whether more EU foreign & security policy should mean a transfer of decision-making power to the EU and a rethinking of European commitments within NATO.
